CLIMATIC CONDITIONS:

A windy spring and wet spell over the New Year, was followed by a hot, dry summer.

DATE OF HARVEST: various pickings in April 2015

HARVEST & VINIFICATION:

Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed and fermentation in stainless steel. Fermentation stopped at 8.5% VOL.

DATE OF BOTTLING: 24th June 2015

ALC: 8.5% VOL

TASTING NOTES:

This luscious wine obtained its name from the Italian Vintner, who started planting this vineyard in Martinborough in 1989. 

A delicious boutquet of fragrant orange blossoms. Aromas of summer ripened peaches and apricots with notes of pure nectar.

A general luscious entrance of golden peaches and nectarine with a silky texture that dances on your palate, a rich empowering core with lively acidity that offers a fine                                          mineral balance. A pure delight in the glass.

CELLARING: now to 10 years
