CLIMATIC CONDITIONS:

No spring frosts and favourable flowering conditions set ideal start to the season. Summer was windy, warm and dry with some rain towards the end of vintage.

 

DATE OF HARVEST: 21st April 2011

HARVEST & VINIFICATION: Hand-picked and 100 % de-stemmed. Fermentation in stainless steel vats and maceration for 3 weeks. Aged in 35% new and 65% used French Oak barriques for 4 years.

DATE OF BOTTLING: 25th June 2015

ALC: 14.5% VOL

2011 Con Brio

TASTING NOTES:

Deep hues of purple, with a luscious bouquet of ripe
dark fruits, notes of spice and subtle tones of freshly roasted coffee beans. Silky entrance of wild dark fruits and earthy hues bound by layers of rich spices, dark chocolate with a hint wood fire. Coming together as a symphony of the senses.

 

DRINKING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ºC

CELLARING: 5-12 years
