VARIETIES: Pinot Noir ORIGIN: Wairarapa CLIMATIC CONDITIONS: A mild winter and warm spring resulting in an early bud-burst, leading into a cooler than usual summer, followed by an early autumn.
DATE OF HARVEST: 28th March & 17th April 2014 HARVEST & VINIFICATION: Hand-picked, de-stemmed and cold-macerated on skins for 5 hours then pressed. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks under influences of various yeasts and temperatures. Racking by gravity to keep maximum freshness of fermentation-CO2. DATE OF BOTTLING: 15th September 2014 ALC: 13.5% VOL
TASTING NOTES: Subtle peach colour. This alluring Rosé has a lifted floral and white roses bouquet leading into sweet cherry aromas. The silky vanilla-strawberry texture is followed by ripe peach and tropical fruits with a clean and crisp, dry, long lasting finish with touch of spice.
