Schubert Sauvignon Blanc 2016 cropped bigger test

CLIMATIC CONDITIONS: A wet and cold September resulted in a late start to the season. One of the hottest Februarys on record and low rainfall during March allowed for perfect ripening conditions.


DATE OF HARVEST: 4th - 15th April 2016



Partially whole bunch pressed and maceration on skins. Fermentation in different vats and partly in oak under influences of various yeasts and temperatures. Racking by gravity to keep maximum freshness of fermentation-CO2.

DATE OF BOTTLING: 29th September 2016

ALC: 13% VOL


A seductive nose with aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit, with fine flinty mineral notes.

Fresh fruit entrance with hints of pineapple and luscious citrus components, a touch of fresh herbs with yeasty notes amongst a mineral flinty core that offers a long elegant lingering finisch 

This is the perfect match to the mouth watering New Zealand Bluff oysters.
